MEET OUR BOARD

Ashley (Angel) Hart is a Chicago-born writer, mentor, and musician. Their activism and creative work are rooted in providing mutual aid as a response to systemic racism, and the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Ashley uses their platform as a regionally recognized musician to create and engage others in solution-oriented conversation around equality, equity and protection. Their willingness to be hands on and fearless continues to be a driving force in the work S.H.I.F.T. engages within the community and an intergral part of the board. Currently they reside in Minneapolis, MN. 

Cristalle Bowen is a veteran musician, mentor, and scientist from Chicago, Illinois. Driven by an intense desire to combine her love of art, education, and service, she takes pride in her board position at S.H.I.F.T. In addition to her primary function as Treasurer, Cristalle has been recognized for her exceptional commitment to building a safer, more sustainable art community in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Areas.

Audriannah is a Chicago native, activist, and current Psychology student. While studying, she has taken on the role of an early childhood educator and focuses primarily on teaching diversity through books and play-based activism for children aged 2-6. Audriannah frequently volunteers at Chicago PAWS medical center in Chicago’s little village neighborhood. By serving on the board, Audriannah hopes to help bring relief to Chicago’s south and west sides.
